Team Lipstick

21 09 2011
Well hello there friends! Remember me? Chloe…. I’m the one on the right.
Yeah…it’s been a while, I know. I have been off adventuring in Brazil for the past few weeks. I ate tons of delicious food, consumed many many  Caipirinha’s and did not exercise one bit. It was amazing and I have a few stories to share with you, but today I have some other news hot off of the press to share. Just last week, I was contacted by Team Lipstick, the largest and most successful all female triathlon team in New York City, with chapters in DC, Philadelphia, Chicago and Austin. They were looking for a new swim coach for the D.C. chapter and had heard through the grape vine that I like to swim/have been swimming for a very long time, don’t mind getting up super early and am kind of into this whole triathlon thing. They offered and I immediately accepted! I started this morning and it was great… I am really looking forward to getting to know the girls on the team!

Some of the perks of being on TL are the personalized coaching and training plans, an immediate group of like minded girls who can push each other to their limits and become stronger athletes and of course the sweet gear. But another perk to being on TL are the great opportunities to become involved in the triathlon community and learn more about the sport. Many of the events are TL only events, but a few are open to the public. This Saturday, September 24th, Team Lipstick’s D.C. Chapter is hosting an all female exclusive meet and greet that is open to the public! If you live in the D.C. area, and are a female athlete, check it out!

JENNIFER TETRICK
Professional Triathlete
This Saturday, September 24th

I will be sharing some of my adventures from Brazil over the next week or so, so stay tuned!

Question of the day: If you could name your own triathlon (or other sports team), what would it be?

That is just great news. Congrats on a well deserved appointment. You are going to be great.

If I could start my own team what would I call it? I would call it Team CTER and that is just what I did. Started my own team about two weeks ago and have a stable of 3 athletes with hopefully two more joining in 2012.
